I installed a highpoint ide controller today and the drivers seem to work fine. It registers in dmesg and /proc/pci. Theres even an associated file in /proc/ide. The problem is theres no /dev/hd<num> for the drives on the card. Wondering if anyone can help me with this? It'd be much appreciated. Cheers, -John
