ok so im looking at getting a new laptop i have a few specifications
1. some kind of metal chasis (i believe titinaum is all theysell)
2. support for a second battery and an extra modular drive. so if i wanted i could have 2 cds , cd hd, modular battery, cd .... ya get the idea
the only thing i have found is a gateway 600 series .... dont really wanna buy from em cause i dont feel like fighting about the OS preinstalled but i will if i have to .... so can anyone reccomend any tops that meet those specs ...? |

you could just delete the xp partition as soon as you get it, you wont have to activate it but you will have to pay for it... _________________ 95% of all computer errors occur between chair and keyboard (TM)

i like sonys and apples. i'm not sure if sony has a system that meets all your specs and i don't think any apples can take a second battery. I like my old vaio f580 and a client of mine has a sweet new, light powerful system. The apple doesn't have windows. OSX is pretty cool too, even runs generic X (w/ or w/out aqua) with a portage-like pkg management system. _________________ Aim:gsfgf0 |
