I have gentoo 1.4rc1 up-to-date, and qt-3.1.0-r1 installed.
These are my special USE flags: "alsa -gnome ipv6 perl postgres", all other are defaults.
The same error occured compiling kdelibs 3.0.4. I tried it several times. The last time I added -no-xinerama to my CFLAGS:
CFLAGS='-march=pentium2 -mcpu=pentium2 -O3 -pipe -no-xinerama'. It didn't help.
I haven't go an idea about the problem an I did deep searches in the forums already, it seems that nobody has encountered this..
Do I have tho use another qt release/version??
Please help, thanks

Been trying to figure this one out for almost two months. Downgraded qt, pulled my 3.0.5 kdelibs (those won't compile anymore either), even did an emerge kdelibs --emptytree (that wasn't fun )
Maybe if I could find the config.log I could dig something up ... ? |

Try to add 'ssl' to your USE flags.
Why? It looks like the compile fails inside kssl directory.

ssl is enabled in make.defaults and I haven't disabled it.
Installed version of openssl is 0.9.6g
BTW, I'm using the Gentoo 1.4 rc and have tried with gcc 3.1 and 2.95 |
