Hi, I'm seriously considering dumping win2k for a more perminant use of linux, I currently use gentoo on a few of my machines, but haven't installed it on my main desktop as of yet. Just thought I'd clear up a few things first, hows Gentoo's support for extended keys on a keyboard?, is there a app I can emerge to let me customize these?, I've got a logitech cordless freedom optical, and it would be a pity to lose the functionality of all the buttons (specially the play, pause and volume ones). I had a looks around and haven't seen anything that can do quite what I want =(. |

Sure, no problem. You could either do a search in these forums or click here.
Possible software to use includes lineak, hotkeys, jerukey and xmms-itouch (in no specific order, and probably not a complete list). |
