you mean like gnomecc?
if you have gnome built, just type gnomecc
personally, i don't really like gnome. but gnomecc can be usefull if you don't know how to do stuff with the shell
is there any specific thing you want to change? maybe you can accomplish it _without_ a control panely thingie |

I think he meant this: http://cpanel.net
As far as I know you can't do it on any distribution other than the ones they make their software against. Eg Redhat 7.3, 9, FreeBSD etc. etc.
I've rebuilt my gentoo box like one hundred too many times, and I always end up coming back to Delta407's scripts. One day if I am lucky i'll learn how to put something like this into a web interface. _________________ http://get.a.clue.de |

Plesk will run on Gentoo. We're in process of finishing up our install. |

So, once you're finished could you share the install process with us, so other can benefit? I'd really like to get it running too. _________________ Brave Cobra

Just wondering if you were able to finish the installation of Plesk on gentoo. I've been trying for sometime but I can only think of two ways of doing it: 1. Use the rpm app on gentoo. The problem with this approach is that the rpm doesn't work with portage (AFIAK). 2. Modify the install script (for the FreeBSD os). There's about 18000 lines of shell script and I'm not sure if it is even legal to do so. (Maybe there's a third way: 3. Copy over the files from another install?)
