Hi everybody,
I´m a total noob to linux, but have watched this and other forums about the topic for a long time now being totally fascinated.
Yesterday I finally gave it a try and installed a Gentoo Stage3 from the Universal LiveCD following the really noob-friendly handbook. I took me all night  but guess what: it´s running now!
Typing this from my first Linux/Gentoo I just wanted to say thanks for this marvelous community making it so easy to find a way into the linux-world!
