Hi folks,
I searched the Forum and saw that there is no reply to this posting. Has anyone the Omnibook ebuild / Omnibook Kernel Module in use?
I got an Toshiba Satellite 3000-100 and it seems that this Module is the only one I may use to configure my APM Settings.
It Would be great to hear some positive reports about using this Module.
Thnx in advance!
so long,

I have been using this module on my HP Pavilion ze1115. I am not using the ebuild--I'm using the latest release from their website. For me, the only functionality currently working is the screen brightness adjustments. I can not blank the screen for some reason. It does not introduce any system instabilities as far as I can tell. Give it a try, who knows what might start working

I'm currently using this module on my Toshiba 1900-303 as ACPI doesn't work too well on it.
All I need now is to find some way of getting it to work with gkrellm to display temperatures and fan settings etc and I'll be very happy.
Perhaps I should write my own gkrellm plugin..... |
