Ultra10 question

1. Can I use my Ultra10 with distcc to make the compile times on my P4 gentoo box faster?? Or will the different processor type foobar all of it??

I use the Ultra10 as a web/mail/proxy/local rsync server, and my other boxes as desktops.

you can, but you will have to set your make options (cflags and such) to the pentium4 settings (IIRC, could be wrong) but the speed boost from the 450mhz>ultra10 will not be significant compared to a 324263576ghz liquid-nitrous cooled pentium 4
