Hi,
habe gerade cups installiert und einen Drucker eingerichtet der frei im Netzwerk rumfliegt also über eine eigene feste IP angesprochen werden kann. Das ganze funktioniert auch mit Openoffice, Epiphanie.. nur alle mozilla-derivate haben scheinbar ein Problem damit. keine Fehlermeldun, cups sieht den job als "completed" and, nur aus dem Drucker kommt nix raus. Auch das cups/error_log sieht freidlich aus

okay, habs gelöst:
einfach mal geschaut welchen befehl gimp zum drucken verwendet und den bei thunderbird / firefox eingetragen und siehe da, es geht doch.
