Toshiba 2gb pcmcia harddrive how to ?

I have a Toshiba 2gb pcmcia hard drive. I wana know how to mount it, i have pcmcia support, and it works, it regognizes the card.

but when i do a mount /dev/hde /mnt/hde it says hde doesnt work. ? am i using the right location

yes i did make a /mnt/hde

what is the location and where is a good faq i could read bout workin my 2GB pc card hard drive.
