Ive downloaded the 2004.1 sparc universal iso here, burned it and tryed to boot from it:
stop+a
ok boot cdrom
but it doesnt load the cd! it reboots and stop the processing...
what've i done wrong?
please someone help me

First thing to check is that you have the correct CD.
I was trying to use the sparc64 cd on my ss20 and of course it wouldnt work.
Once you have verified that then the next step would be to find out what hardware you have in your sparc so that people can have an idea of what might be causing the problem.
Bad ram, bad cpu, bad scsi hd or cdrom, Bad OBP prom...

okay, im sure i got the 32bit sparc cdrom here
the spark still runing solaris, are there any hardware diagnosis program that come with it? so i can test what could be wrong? _________________ ------------------------------------

Something else that I just experienced on my end.
1. Dont use cd-rw for your boot cd.
2. Dont burn your cd at high speed.
I had to re-burn my cd at 8x before the sparc20 would take it, and forget about the cd-rw that I tried to use.
