I have been installed Blackdown 1.4.1.
But when will 1.4.2 be available for installation ?

It is available but is masked ~x86 in portage.
i currently use it and have no problems
Edit - sorry i came here through an unanswered post search and didnt see the sparc header

The latest Sun SPARC versions of the Java RE are only for Solaris. Sun seems particularly disinterested in supporting (or releasing) a GNU/Linux-SPARC version of any JRE release (according to the rumour mills). Hence, Blackdown is the only game in town for JRE on GNU/Linux-SPARC...
looks like we'll just have to keep waiting. |
