Looks like I just made a terrible mistake: I uninstalled PAM.
I'm completely closed out of my system now, even on runlevel 1 no root login.
My only hope is to get in somehow with my gentoo Live-CD, is this possible? And if - how?
Somebody pleeeeeease save my day... |

Boot your gentoo CD.
Mount the hard disk & then chroot the mount. Setup your network card (this is all in the install guide). Then :
emerge pam pam-login
Also :
passwd root
in case you lost the password. |
