this might be a newbie question, but I need help configuring my network.

I have two NIC's, obviously a natsemi & 8139too both compiled as part of the kernel.

natsemi = eth0
8139too = eht1

I recently removed a home router w/ a DHCP pool from my network, now i'm linking directly to my DSL modem. Anyhow, I want to use my natsemi NIC which was previously set to a DHCP setting for a new connection. This will be a static, manual configuration. I have the IP addy, the gateway, and the subnet. My DNS is good to go. I tried using the instructions that are in the instl. manual, but it didn't work.

Thanks in advance!
