hi
i've emerged mozilla beta and some font packages and, as a consequence, nautilus and gdm refuse to work. that is, nautilus segfaults at startup and gdm (not xdm) won't get up either (without any error messages). kinda hard stuff to debug ;)

i can't figure out how to repair this stuff (and i've tried for a couple of hours (and days)) and so it would be nice, if i could remove gnome and re-install it in a CLEAN way.
i suppose, it won't help if I just re-emerge it, so how is this one done ? i'm not afraid to loose my gnome configuration ...

i'd be glad for any suggestions

there is no proper way to fo it.
the way i do would do it is qpkg -I | grep gnome , to get the package related to gnome and then unmerge them.
but maybe there is better way and quicker.
