Pheonix Web Browser to change its name

Mozilla, under legal pressure from "Pheonix BIOS" Creators, are going to change Pheonix's name at the 0.5 release.

What a pain in the ass!

There was a discussion on the MozillaZine that spanned 20 pages about the name change.

You mean 'Phoenix Corporation', not 'Phoenix bios'. I know of an app. called 'Phoenix' with which you can surf the web in your bios (if I'm remembering correctly), don't know if 'Phoenix corporation' owns the bios-browser but if they do then maybe they could have a case. If not, they better tell everyone else that uses the name Phoenix to switch, including the city(s) and that firebird among others.

They're getting pressure from the company that owns www.phoenix.com

Which does make the phoenix bios, but I'm not sure if that includes a browser IN the bios.
