Why do I have to keep doing this?

I've edited my resolv.conf to reflect my name server, but, everytime I reboot I have to enter the following for networking to work..

route add -net default gw 192.168.1.1 netmask 0.0.0.0 metric 1 eth0

Any ideas?

your gateway probably isn't set in /etc/conf.d/net - look way at the bottom

I think I just answered my own question. Edit 'net' and enter gateway="eth0/192.168.1.1"? I'll have to wait for my emerge to finish then reboot and see what happens...
