I'm new to using Gentoo on MacOSX and having a little trouble. I've changed ACCEPT_KEYWORDS to ppc-macos and then tried to emerge portage, and this is what happened. Am I doing something silly?

Code:

Peter-Computer:/Users/peter root# emerge --pretend portage

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating dependencies ...done!
[ebuild  N    ] sys-apps/debianutils-1.16.7-r4
[ebuild  N    ] sys-apps/portage-2.0.51-r2

Peter-Computer:/Users/peter root# emerge portage

No, you are just using a version of portage that doesn't have the dosbin fix yet. See this thread: https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=235758
