I'm trying to run dchub on my box... It seems to work reasonably well (0.1.1) but occasionally users get booted off and can't reconnect. Error message says that their nick is already in use, please change to a different nick. (No good for a reg-only hub)

I tried emerging 0.2.2 but each time I run it, it mangles the .db file. - It becomes 2 bytes long. Re-creating it with the --init option dosen't help either.

Is there a trick to it? Has anyone made 0.2.2 work?

Solved.

It would seem that, despite what it says in the --help, the database format has changed. You're supposed to administer it from within the program instead. 0.2.2 works fine as long as you don't try to use edb_ed to edit the db.
