hi everyone.
i've used gqview for some time now without problems. but when a new version of libpng came out things started to become complicated. not only that lot's of programs complained about being compiled with the older version and now have to run with the new lib, but also gqview shows this error now:
** WARNING **: Unable to load module: libpixbufloader-png.so: libpixbufloader-png.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
if made a find /usr -name "libpixbufloader-png.so" and found it two times:
./lib/gtk-2.0/2.0.0/loaders/libpixbufloader-png.so
./lib/gdk-pixbuf/loaders/libpixbufloader-png.so
i'm not sure what's wrong now with my lib. i've unmerged and emerged libpng, gqview and lots of other programs (which complained about libpng) more than once. for most programs now work correctly again, few as gqview won't. gqview compiles quite normaly but won't show png's. anyone know's what i can do about this? |

| recompile gdk-pixbuf, this package might have been compiled against older libpng. |

I get the same problem, even after compiling gdk-pixbuf:

Or would this be a problem with this theme itself? All png files in ~/.themes/XLiquid_GTK-1.0.1/gtk/ are 644... |

Well, that seems to be one of the problems. I changed GTK themes and the problem seems to go away. However, I don't have that problem on my home desktop... and all my other gtk apps seem to work fine using this theme.
Any ideas? |
