Hi.
I have the following errormessage which comes from /usr/sbin/senmail:
/usr/sbin/sendmail: smtp server didn't accept RCTP To : Command, replied "504 <root@_HOSTNAME_>: Sender Address rejected: need fully qualified address.
What is that? What file do I edit? Want the string to be "", not the "#"¤"#¤" which it is now....

If this is a fresh config then it's probably that ssmtp hasn't been configured yet. First let's check that ssmtp is installed
emerge -s ssmtp
you'll probably see something like this:
* net-mail/ssmtp
Latest version available: 2.38.14-r1
Latest version installed: 2.38.14-r1
Size of downloaded files: 70 kB
Homepage:
Description: Extremely simple MTA to get mail off the system to a Mailhub
Now you'll need to configure the conf file
vi /etc/ssmtp/ssmtp.conf
You MUST give it a mailhub to send mail to AND a hostname or it won't work.
