People,
I am looking at building another gentoo box, this time however on a DiskOnChip System. (basically a flash card IDE device).
I only have a 16mb chip available to me at the moment, Im just curious if anyone has tried such a task before or has any suggestions. Im guessing gentoo is a little "big" for such a task, just thought I'd dig and see if anyone has tried it....
The final project ofcourse is a linux wireless access point. |

I would look into building a system image with VMware and a final, stripped-down deployment onto cramfs... even then, though, you'd probably be better with a micro-distro and adding whatever you need. _________________ I don't believe in witty sigs. |

I think you'd be better off looking at uClinux, provided your processor is supported: www.uclinux.org |
