Hi,
I have a Netra T105 that I'm trying to netboot from an Enterprise E420R. I've carried out the setup as per the instruction at http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gentoo-sparc-netboot-howto.xml. Now when I issue the boot net command, I get three lines of:
Timeout waiting for ARP/RARP packet
and then nothing.
When I check in my current log on the tftp server the only line which keeps repeating itself is:
Oct 21 12:00:00 [in.tftpd] RRQ from 192.168.111.23 filename C0A86F17_
I don't think it's working... can someone help me with what to do next please.

It looks like the E420R is looking for a file called C0A86F17
Double check that it does exist. Chances are it either doesn't exist or the tftp daemon isn't looking in the right place. |

Thanks for the pointer, although the files that mentioned were all there and named correctly, I think it was a permissions issue on my boot image file. After setting the permissions to 777, I got straight in. Thanks for all your help.
