Arg. I'm new to linux and kinda shot myself in the foot while following the installation instructions on gentoo.org documentation. I was just about to set the localtime when I got curious and decided to
| Code: | | # cat /usr/share/timezoneinfo/GB |
which promptly buggered up the console text, resulting in letters replaced by weird symbols.
I don't want to start again, so if anyone could help me get the text back to normal, it'd be much appreciated. Thanks!

| Try typing 'reset' without the quotes and see if that fixes it. |
