1. We have changed our host again: The Lila project is now located at

2. The kde port for the Lila icon set is active again, and back to kde-look.org as well.
Have fun! |
SOLVED: Sloppy ebuild numbers and homepage titles - (Download manually and edit ebuilds!)
I don't get it - this is a great set of eye candy enhancements for gentoo yet it seems so under maintained
WHY WON'T GENTOO GET ONBOARD WITH THIS PROJECT ?? THIS SHOULD BE A STAT EBUILD IN PORTAGE!!
WHO CAN I PROTEST TO ??
http://lila-theme.berlios.de/files/tarballs/lila-gnome-0.6.3.tar.bz2
http://lila-theme.berlios.de/files/tarballs/lila-gnome-0.6.2.tar.bz2 (only *.bz2 available) |
I also think this should be an official Gentoo iconset - especially since it's licenced under GPL too. On a side note, I ported these icons to Enlightenment DR 17 (get-e.org eapps section). Thanks to all the Lila community members, awesome set :) If I find enough time I'll try to make a Lila Evidence filemanager theme too. _________________ Interested in E17? Yes, I am experiencing the same problem. Here is the message I get:

...whatever it was, it seems to work now (at least at my system).
Also, I'd like to invite y'all to post to the Lila forum instead of this thread, because we developers usually don't read the posts in here. Although, I think I'll get me an auto-notification. *pling - auto-notification activated*

It's just as maintained as people are willing to work on it... so, anybody thinking this way should feel free to change the situation, it seems the number of active developers is decreasing quickly. Remember, if you don't do it, nobody does! (With a few exceptions, of course.)
Also, get the updated version 0.8.1 of the KDE port from the Lila Center now! |

Hi!
If you'd like to help, please have a look at http://lila-center.info and http://forums.lila-center.info.
Especially the Gnome theme needs work done to it.
Thanks. _________________ Windows = a 64 bit rewrite for a 32 bit extension to a 16 bit GUI on an

Nice to see this running again. The theme is well done (though I wonder if it isn't too basic for today's tastes) and is more of a full system theme. Congrats on a job well done. _________________ • Helpful Linux Tidbits |

To answer your questions:
For me the simlicity is the thing I like about Lila.
And yes, Lila is a full system theme for Gnome, KDE, Openbox, PekWM, Rox-filer, xfce and icewm. And themes exists for example for Audacious.
FYI: Lila Theme is now (mostly) distribution independant. So let's continue the discussion on http://forums.lila-center.info. See you there!
