on my imac, after a fresh install, when i try to launch an app (firefox in this example) i get an error saying "no windows found" on my ibook it says this also, but the app opens anyway. the imac has 2004.1 with the 2.6.8 kernel on it. |

EDIT: reading my first post, i apologize, i should have made it a bit clearer |

k, i was playing around as root, and found that firefox starts as normal when in root. i emerged mozilla, and this problem also occurs, and needs root access to start it. so far, mozilla and firefox, i have found, both start as normal. the only other apps on the computer are MOAGG, supertux, and Gaim, all of which start as expected. |
