When I use the mouse wheel to scroll a webpage in Konqueror, the mouse activates ANY widget it passes over. If a part of the webpage which is passing the mouse cursor happens to have, say, a drop menu, Konqueror stops scrolling and changes the selected option in the drop menu, often causing the webpage to change.
When something like a java applet or flash animation scrolls by under the scroll wheel, all scrolling of the webpage stops.
How can this be prevented? It is incredibly irritating! I greatly prefer it when the widget under the mouse is ignored unless clicked (and thus activated). The current method of activating anything under the mouse seems horribly non-intuitive and counter to what I would expect to happen. _________________ The greatest deeds are still undone, the greatest songs are still unsung... |
