ACPI Failure with i865PE P4 HT/SMP - Panic at boot

Kernel panic at boot if I try to boot Kernel 2.6.6 and later (was okay with 2.6.5 kernels and earlier) with SMP and ACPI enabled. Disabling either one will make my system work properly.

I haven't tried any of the possible workaround there (passing acpi=ht, disabling CONFIG_SCHED_SMT or by applying the patch).

It seems that this one is pretty common. Anybody else experiencing this?
