Max Payne gives a debugger error

Trying to run Max Payne with the most recent ebuild of winex, I get a "A debugger has been detected: unload the debugger and try again" message.

Figured I might try the winex-cvs ebuild, but it complains that the "pexpect" package is masked. Looking through /usr/portage/profiles/package.mask, I can't find any such package...

Fun, huh?

Any ideas on this?

first emerge winex 2.1 then 2.2 over the top. theres something screwy with the 2.2 ebuild (emerge app-emulation/winex-cvs/winex-cvs-2.1.ebuid from memory)
Also try using the 2.1 first, as the 2.2 doesn't always make the reg settings ok
