|
|
I had Quadra (tetris clone) installed for a few days, and I've enjoyed it immensely. However, I just booted up my system, and ran the game, but the entire thing is way too fast.
It's not just gameplay that's fast, it's like the entire program is in fast-forward. Even from the main-screen, the delay between inactivity and Demo-Mode is roughly 4 seconds. I can barely click on the options.
Has anyone had this problem, or can think of a solution? Nothing else on my system is running insanely fast ... |

Use the command nice. Otherwise run 4 instances of seti and that should slow it down. _________________ "Is this type of thing going to happen every time we switch to improbability drive?" "Very probably I'm afraid." |

I'm not sure what's causing this, but it seems to happen only after I emerge something, and then want to play Quadra.
If I restart the system, and run quadra before I do anything else, it runs at normal speed. However, it's not guranteed to run fast if I emerge something first. It just never happens otherwise. |
