Migrate to sparc 2.6 from devfs ->enough nodes in /dev?

Hi, I'm planning a migration to development-sources. I can't "see" the
files in /dev because devfs is mounted there.

Are there sufficient nodes in /dev so that if 2.6 is booted
the system will come up - or if not how did you prepare
your /dev for the transition to 2.6+udev?

My system was created from a 2004.2 stage3 tarball; does that
create sufficient nodes in /dev?
