In another adventure in not understanding permissions, I downloaded snes9x (because for whatever reason zsnes thinks I don't have libsdl 1.2.0 - maybe it will only accept that version?) and attempted to run it. It came up with this:

It also said that /dev/js0 doesn't exist - what is that? Anyways, it ran fine under root, but I'm awfully curious - what kind of permissions do you need to access svgalib? Anyone else have sdl 1.2.0 problems with zsnes? And what *is* /dev/js0? Just curious. I'm going to play around with it for a while. |

Disregard libsdl 1.2.0 bit - that's gone and the .nextsearch error (mentioned in another thread) has replaced it. If I wasn't so afraid of asm I'd go after it. But I am. |
