First i installed kde and emerged licq and first time i started licq i started it by typing:

licq -p kde-gui

but now i tried fluxbox and gonna stop using kde... but everytime i start licq now it takes a really long time to start and i get kde-gui (like the menus are transparent and so on)... i just wonder how do i turn off the kde-gui in licq... so it uses standard (fluxbox-standard) gui ??

did you installed through emerge or manually ???

I know you need to build the qt-gui plugin after you compiled licq.

I stop using licq a long time ago ... they take so much time to change the icq protocol ... anyways gaim all the way except if I can have transfer file feature that would ROCKS !!!
