I feel rather silly now..

I discovered RAQ XTR support wasn't compiled into the kernel.

In my defence it was after midnight here :)

Thanks Jeff and Co, I finally have an up to date Raq XTR I will be able to put in between the internet and my intranet.

Many thanks Guys.

Jeff,

Great work on the Cobalt stuff, I started Gentoo'n my Qube3 a few months back and got busy with work and put the project on hold.. came back to it and pulled the drive, started building thing system, did the patch and when I go to compile the kernel I get an error about Native Machine shutdown, reboot.c? Waiting for flush? and it errors out and fails to compile. I apologize I don't have the exact error message, have you ran into this or heard of this issue?

Thanks again for your work.

I disabled all the cobalt stuff in .config and it will build but when it boots it Kernel panic

anyone have directions on how to make the kernel patch for later kernels that 2.6.23-r3?

I believe it still works fine for me.
You did use the LCD utils, right?
They are mentioned on Jeff's site, and are in Portage.

well, yes. the issue wasnt getting it to work, it was getting the patch to work on 2.6.24-r3. (latest patch on his site is 2.6.23-r3) no big deal, i just downgraded to that kernel, patched, compiled, rebooted and all is good. however, his webled project ebuilds are INCREDIBLY broken...

Which kernel sources are you using?
This week I compiled a vanilla-sources from portage to wich the patched applied fine too.
Iirc his patch is made against the vanilla-sources, a outlined in the FAQ on his site.
