|
|
Hello,
I am using a stock 2.4.19 kernel on which I applied the win4lin kernel patch.
Everything worked fine, but now I wanted to add the affix kernel aptch for bluetooth too.
But I fear that, as the stock kernel was already modified, the patcher will give me an arror when I try to add the affix patch.
Is this true?
Or can I procees?
Otherwise, hoe is it possible to add different patches to a kernel?
Thank oyu for the answers,
regards,
Adalberto |

Give it a try. If they patch different files, or different sections of the same file, you should be fine. If the patches conflict, patch will tell you that hunk such-and-such FAILED. _________________ For every higher wall, there is a taller ladder |

Yes, it seems to work.
If I see the menu appearing in the kernel menuconfig, this means that eerything was ok? |

Well, more importantly, if patch didn't tell you anything failed then it worked. _________________ For every higher wall, there is a taller ladder |
