hi all,
i'm having some problems with 32-bit compatibility with the amd64. seems i needed to emerge some emulation libraries, as per this article:
http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/base/amd64/technotes.xml?part=2&chap=4
everything went fine until this command:
emerge app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-qtlibs
i received this error message:
Calculating dependencies
!!! Problem in app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-qtlibs dependencies.
!!! "Specific key requires an operator (app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-qtlibs-1.1) (try adding an '=')"
any ideas? this problem is preventing me from compiling any 32-bit application, which is obviously a problem.

Neither of those commands works...it gives me the same error message.
This is really confusing me, and it seems everyone I talk to about this has no idea either.
