What is the correct syntax for simply scanning an image, and saving it to a particular location using scanimage? I can get it to scan, but I never seem to find the file that it shoud have created.
I busted my ass trying to get this scanner to work. Please tell me that it is the syntax that I am doing wrong?

Code:

#scanimage --batch-increment=1 [/home/ckwall/desktop]
