XFree86 from CVS

Hia ll!

I would like to compile XFree86 from the cvs branch since it contains support for Intel i845 video that my stupid new Dell GX260 comes with. (Dude, I wish I'd gotten another brand!)

I have seen some of the other threads about using the 4.2.99 build, but it is a fairly old build, the source files are dated back to July.

My main problem is that I'm behind a pretty "nazi" firewall and can not get cvs to run since none of the cvs programs supports a normal http-proxy based firewall.

My question is: Is there another way to get hold of a cvs-snapshot of the XFree86 tree?
