nitro-sources rock solid: even fbsplah-tng is working
but on the shutdown ,every process is being stopped,but the fan+the cpu continue to work!
What may be causing that.

I have not read all that but this is generally due to not have "button" enabled under the ACPI setup in the kernel.

This option allow the kenel to simulate a power button through ACPI to turn off the system.

I use nitro-sources on my x86 machine and love it to death but I was wondering are the nitro patches only x86 speciific? I have a ppc machine too and was wondering if i unmasked it would it technically work correctly or would there be tons of bugs. If anyone has any info/suggestions/comments please let me know. Thanks
