Well AFAIK the benchmark was done before reiser4.patch could be found on kernel.org
Other conclusions are true, but atleast it was documented
Btw. here's explanation on dbench reiser4 problems from Edward:
"I know about it: such hangs take place since 2.6.23-mm1 (or so):
I think that something got changed in the vm subsystem"
And about file creation results:
"I think this is because of poor reiser4_sync() performance: it does a
lot of work,
and that "creation" benchmark calls sync() for every created file, i.e.
100000 times.."
