Just thought I'd mention... I just emerged gcc 3.2-r2 the other day, and today I tried installing the java linux plugin for mozilla again (through mozilla's plugin-finder-thingiee). Lo and behold, it worked, so if you were having trouble getting Java to play nice with Mozilla, updating gcc and trying again MAY be the solution. (Of course, not my fault if you break something else by upgrading gcc...consider yourself warned. )
</advisory>

Which Java plugin did you try?
Somewhere on this forum I read that sun-j2sdk 1.4.0-r1 was working with gcc3.2 and Mozilla.
It sounds more likely that a java fix would work than a gcc-fix IMHO.

Well, GCC was the only thing that upgraded, besides a couple miscellaneous programs... though I did forget to mention that I recompiled Mozilla afterward. *kickme* Whatever the case, the plugin finder worked, so if you're out of ideas, maybe GCC needs an upgrade. *shrug* _________________ Achaea.
