|
|
I get this distortion in my menus/taskbar for one reason or another and I can't figure out why ...
http://pact.wox.org/images/stanss2.jpg
See how there're bunch of green/blue dots on the menus? Notice that the Styles menu appears normal except for the Header. The Styles and Solid Colors Menus look normal except for the Header. Rest of the Menus look distured. Same goes for the headers of all windows and the taskbar at the bottom. Any ideas?
Specs:
300MHz k6-2
ViperII (Savage2k controller) with 3rd party driver since S3's driver won't even boot.

hrmm. ok, that rules out the theory of it just being a not well supported card/drivers.
what have you tried doing to fix it? anything at all? |

Alright, after endless amount of research and not finding a damn thing concerning my problem, I decided to try the good 'ol viper 550 card. That definetly fixed the problem.
Since Viper 550 is a TNT card, it only works with "nv" drivers. But it does work.
Anyway, problem solved ... |
