I installed and compiled the 2.4.27 kernel using the new disc this weekend - all is well! However, I think my box (UltraSPARCII Axi) is powering down on it's own - it's powered down at the same time yesterday and today. Not a power outage issue, cause it's hooked up to an APC and also my clock wasn't blinking when I got home. It wasn't doing this before, and I had an older kernel installed. I wiped the machine and started from scratch using a Stage3 over the weekend.
Barring outside influences on only that socket (a possiblity), is there something I'm missing in a config, or power management daemon, etc? Anyone have any ideas where to start looking?
Thanks for the help! _________________ - L202 |

Disregard. Quite stupidly I neglected to fire the dns resolution service. So, no outside availability.
It's also generally assumed that in order to view one's web page, one's web server should also be running. _________________ - L202 |
