I have a gentoo server in a closet that is running reiserfs on the / partition, but since it rather frequently get's turned off by turning off the power or there is an power failure and I've had some errors with the filesystem when booting it up again, I wonder if there is a filesystem that is less vurnable to power cuts? |

I use ext3. It works fine. If there are problems it will fix them for you at boot. |
