could someone point me to some linux newbie guides online (besides tldp)? I have gentoo installed with fluxbox and it is working fine but i have a lot of general questions (how do i tell what processes are running, how do i setup sound, how do i change the time, how do i get my mousewheel to work, etc.) and i would like to learn the basics of linux. thanks! |

You also may want to try the links in the articles and documentation sections of the gentoo web site. Some of the links go to IBM. I have found the LPI certification exam preps at ibm.com/developerWorks to be very useful for the type of information you are looking for. _________________ Hope this helps!
