ATI lost and will loose market share with their "we don't care about Linux" attitude - that's fact! 4500 SIGNING Linux users - what a sign!!!
tell all your friends to sign this petition. many more people have to get a "bad feeling" when they hear the three letters: "ATI"
.... maybe we get better drivers or we buy nvidia cards .... |

Wooho!
So, when do you think we'll hit 10000?

I am quite sure we will hit 10 000 with less than 1465 additional signers...

It was down for a while (or really slow?), saw that too. But it's loading nicely now again.

Not a dumb question at all. I've been trying to contact them with no real success (mostly by e-mail). I was planning on trying again when we hit a nice number like 10000. I'll try by e-mail, snail-mail, and phone.

And I don't think it's so much "when will they receive it" (well, that's sorta important) but also "Will they ignore the email when they get it" or for that matter, even accept the email at all. ATi sorta has a rough history when it comes to customer interaction dealing with Linux...Unless of course you were asking a question that the answer could be "The drivers are new...We're working on it" _________________ That rank under my username doesn't mean I know everything, it just means I ask a lot of questions. |

Good grief, those petitions should have moderators that can delete stupid signatures like this one:
Code: | 5606. Oliver Worx GeForсe 2 Pro nVidia forether ! : =) |
I want good 3d acceleration with Linux, so I've got an NVidia card, but I wish I had a choice. The sooner ATI's linux drivers don't suck, the better.
It would be really cool if somebody lived near one of ATI's offices and could print and deliver the petition by hand. I'd do it. |

Support Nvidia. They have been providing drivers for the linux community for years. _________________ "You can lead a horticulture but you can't make her think" ~ Dorothy Parker

The petition was started one week ago on Wed Aug 18 at 8:30 PM. We'll have to see it is possible to hit 10000 today, exactly one week later. Keep up the good work.

9621 signatures *whistles* thats a lot of people who support this petition. hopefully 9600 voices wakes ATI up to the fact that their drivers really need some attention. |

haven't read it, just ran across it. |
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this version (3.9) older than the current available one (3.11)? |
