Hi! I'm running the newest dvdrip with ogmtools and have tried to get the cluster mode working. I have two machines the first one as a master and the second one as a node. I have followed cluster mode howto from dvdrip's homepage but I have a problem with it. node machine starts up fine and I can see with ps ax that transcode is running but soon(about 20s) the process stops. Anyone have got dvdrip's cluster mode to work? I'm using samba to share the needed data. Could this cause the problem? I have a 10mb network, could this cause the problem(too slow)? And both machines are running under Gentoo. |

I haven't tried dvdrip myself yet but, since you have 2 linux boxes with you use samba ? Try NFS, read the great NFS-How-To and in minutes u'll have nfs running...
