Im having a hard time getting my network up on linux. I installed the network drivers and everything, and I opened up /etc/conf.d/net and everything was o.k. I checked the other file (I forget where it's located) and dont know how to configure it at all. Im running a onboard ethernet at eth0, using NFORCE2 chipset.

Thanks,
Rob

Make sure you have followed all the steps in the handbook:
http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/handbook-x86.xml?part=1&chap=8#doc_chap2

What is the output of ifconfig?
