|
|
hi,
is it possible to install jbuilder X on gentoo?
in another forum there was a reference about jbuilder8 and a trick to install it
https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=35431&highlight=jbuilder+install
The first problem is that install script is for red hat and so you have to modify that (dev_trial_install.bin in my case) and comment "read hat "check line
Doing that i obtain :
Code: |
xtracting the JRE from the installer archive...
Unpacking the JRE...
gzip: /tmp/install.dir.27178/Linux/resource/vm.tar.Z: not in gzip format
/tmp/install.dir.27178/Linux/resource/vm.tar.Z: not in compressed format
gzip: /tmp/install.dir.27178/Linux/resource/vm.tar.Z: not in gzip format
The included VM could not be uncompressed (GZIP/UNCOMPRESS). Please try to
download the installer again and make sure that you download using 'binary'
mode. Please do not attempt to install this currently downloaded copy.

I donwloaded twice but nothing changed
Thank you for your help. |
