Hello. I hadn't really booted into linux for quite some time now. But, I needed to recently...so I did a coupla days ago. And, everything was working perfectly fine. A few days later, I figured out that a long time ago, I set up a script that automatically emerges world every sunday at 3 am. XFree is now version 4.3.0.1. Now, when I load up X, my keyboard becomes unresponsive and my mouse doesn't work. Same XF86Config....I'm stumped =T _________________ Matthew Hauck

Hello,
Maybe if you posted the script used to automatically update the world
then someone could comment on the potential reason things are broken...
which could lead to some specific ideas and direction for you...
Cheers
